What is Thermography?

Thermography, also known as Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI), is a screening of physiology and function that relies on the sympathetic nerve control of skin blood flow and the ability of the central nervous system to respond to and react to pain, pathology, injury or dysfunction anywhere in the body.  Images are captured on a sophisticated medical infrared camera and are interpreted by medical doctors who are certified Thermologists experienced in reading thermograms.

Thermography is safe, painless, noninvasive, radiation-free and compression free.  It is available to those who want access to the earliest, safest and most comfortable screening that technology offers without sacrificing effectiveness.

With an emphasis on prevention and early risk assessment, Thermography is ideally placed as a screening tool providing peace of mind by empowering both women and men with the knowledge to improve their health and promote longevity.

Breast Thermography offers a unique assessment of breast health and is one of the best early detection screenings available today.  Early detection is aimed at prevention and if changes are found then there’s an opportunity to intervene and affect the outcome. Prevention may include treatment of inflammation, fibrocystic disease, lymph congestion, estrogen dominance and more specific conditions like angiogenesis.
